MedicalDirector - Responsibilities:

• Plan,organize, manage, and supervise the roles of the Center PCPs
  
• Identifyphysician recruitment needs and collaborate in the hiring andcontracting of;
  
• Establishwork schedules and assignments for medical staff according toworkload, space and equipment, and center needs
  
• Overseedaily operations of physician services
  
• Buildstrong relationships with specialists, hospitalists, SNF, and otherproviders to form a narrow network of quality services focused onsenior population health
  
• Monitormedical performance and provide guidance to ensure that the qualityof care being provided meets appropriate standards and to ensurecost-effective utilization practices
  
• Overseethe development, revision, and implementation of policies andprocedures, systems, programs, and standards for health careservices
  
• Representthe organization in community and marketing events
  
• Assess,develop and recommend strategies for compliance with regulatoryrequirements
  
• Developand maintain an effective relationship with all departmentsproviding medical guidance and expertise
  
• Identifytrends of over- and under-utilization and implement action plans toimprove
  
• Directand orient physicians in the correct application of approvedguidelines
  
• Overseethe operations of the wellness activities
  
• Otherduties as requested
  

MedicalDirector - Required Qualifications:

• 8or more years of clinical practice experience
  
• 5or more years of management experience
  
• Licensurerequirements of the state of jurisdiction
  
• Graduateof accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university
  
• BoardCertification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or GeriatricMedicine
  
• Thisrole has patient-facing If selected for this role, you will berequired to be screened for TB
  
• Mustbe passionate about contributing to an organization focused oncontinuously improving patient experiences
  

PrimaryCare Physician Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeof HEDIS/STARS
  
• Knowledgeof CAHPS and HOS
  
• Experienceworking in medically underserved/culturally diverse communities
  
• Experienceworking with an electronic health record
  
• Experienceworking in Medicare Advantage Global Risk Models
