- Operates from a narrow scope ofresponsibility to maintain production schedules and to ensurequality standards and
- Safety requirements aremet.
- Maintenance of production schedule andproduction to meet the delivery of customer orders ontime.
- Must have sound knowledge of MIG Welding,welding defects, Jigs, and Fixtures.
- Capable toInterpret drawings and welding symbols and can use measuringinstruments like Micrometer, Vernier, Dial gauge,etc.
- Works closely with the Maintenancedepartment for upkeep of machines and Utilities for uninterruptedproduction.
- Oversees the accomplishment ofassigned work through subordinate leadassemblers.
- Plan work makes assignments andtrains new employees as per Managersinstruction.
- Provide on-the-job training forproduction employees in all areas of their job duties includingSafety and Quality requirements.
- Assist hiringprocess and administers company policies for assigneddepartment.
- Has basic knowledge of Lean and ISO9001 QMS.
- Reports discrepancies in blueprints,specifications, methods, engineering data, standards, etc., to theproductionmanager.
