Description
We are looking for a reliable
QS. Engineer. ESTIMATOR to join our project team.

It will be tasked with reviewing, planning, preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, building relationships with clients and site managers.

GRG, GRC, Gypsum Ceiling & Drywall Partition, Painting Works, Wall Cladding and other related work is mandatory.


Job responsibilities:


  • At least 5 years Experience
  • Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
  • With Experience in
    FITOUT:
  • All related activities of post contract
    QS-Estimation work.
  • Review and Prepare contracts for secured projects.
  • Deal with Consultant/Client to finalize the variations evaluation and changes.
  • Open preliminary budgets for secured projects and coordinate with project procurements on advising the budgeted cost to monitor the commercial values.
  • Ensuring that payments / notices are issued in accordance with the subcontract and Construction Act and, ensure any commercial threats to projects are identified swiftly and communicated to the Commercial Manager.
  • Attending meetings (pre orders, design meetings, package review meetings) and ensuring that surveying information and cost advice is provided in an accurate and proficient manner.
  • Understanding estimating scope of work, deliverables, schedule of execution, estimate structure, formats, reports. Familiar with Estimating Plan and Basis of Estimate preparation.
  • Good Knowledge of the Fit Out Suppliers & Sub Contractors in local market & overseas. Multitasking and ability to work with more than one project. Effective communication skills and technically sound.

Salary:
AED5, AED6,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
