Piping Head

Experience:

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of piping engineering and design activities within oil and gas projects, including tank farm terminal projects.
Lead a team of piping engineers and designers, providing guidance and direction to ensure project objectives are met.
Develop piping engineering design strategies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to integrate piping designs into overall project plans.
Review and approve piping design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations, to ensure accuracy and quality.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or challenges, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Conduct technical reviews and participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to support the procurement of piping materials and equipment and oversee piping installation activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing piping design and construction.
Provide technical support and expertise to resolve pipingrelated issues during all project phases.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in piping engineering and design within the oil and gas industry, with specific experience in tank farm terminal projects.
Proven leadership skills with experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong technical knowledge of piping design principles, codes, standards, and practices.
Proficiency in piping design software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities to address complex piping engineering challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to piping design and construction in the oil and gas industry.
Professional certifications or licenses related to piping engineering are advantageous.
