    Position: Quantity Surveyor - Oil & Gas

    Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

    Contract Details: Full-time

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

    Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong background in Fabrication, Modular Building, and EPC projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for projects in the Oil & Gas industry, including Fabrication, Modular Building, and EPC projects.

    - Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.

    - Prepare and submit progress reports, cost reports, and other project documentation to clients and project managers.

    - Monitor project costs and budgets, and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

    - Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.

    - Review and negotiate change orders and variations with clients and subcontractors.

    - Conduct site visits and inspections to verify quantities and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

    - Prepare and maintain accurate records of all project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.

    - Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals and make recommendations to project managers.

    - Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support to project teams.

    Requirements:

    - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

    - Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a strong background in Fabrication, Modular Building, and EPC projects.

    - Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, techniques, and methods.

    - Experience with cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control.

    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    - Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    - Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    - Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

    - Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
