Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting and Bookkeeping professional located in Dubai. The role involves tasks such as managing financial statements, bookkeeping, accounting software, performing journal entries, and other finance-related duties.

You will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance.

You should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to produce clear financial reports.

This role requires proficiency in computer and bookkeeping software, strong typing abilities, effective time management, excellent communication skills, knowledge of accounting principles, professionalism, multitasking capability, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company

Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)

Monitor accounts payable and receivable

Generate financial documents including bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables, and purchase orders

Assists with the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Ability to perform journal entries in accordance with accounting principles and the IFRS

Knowledge of tax and regulatory practices.

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficient in English and other languages is a plus.

Professional certification in Accounting (e.g. CPA) is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
