    Description
    • Supporting Category Manager withinthe assigned brand/category by developing comprehensive businessplans
    • Studies trends from historical dataaround brand/category sales and market research to assist in theoverall planning process.
    • Supports in tasksthat will allow category KPIs to beachieved.
    • Responsible for monitoring definedprice strategy for both Local and Own Brands againstcompetitors.
    • Manages consumer mapping and isresponsible for brand/category consumer segmentation anddifferentiation.
    • Ensures optimum utilization ofcustomer research information to guide brand/category managementdecisions, including decisions on the introduction of new products,product assortment, promotion and pricing of products in thestore.
    • Ensures compliance and governance ofitem master dare process.

    PeopleManagement:

    • Defines performance goals at thestart of the year in discussion with the reporting manager for selfand ensures that the goals are

    achieved during the course of theyear.

    • Takes ownership ofhis/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs inconsultation with the manager and agreeing on the

    individual developmentplan

    • Keeps abreast ofprofessional developments, new techniques and current issuesthrough continued education and professional growth

    About therequirements:

    • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevantexperience with Retail commercial roles , FMCG or CategoryManagement
    • Solid knowledge of categorymanagement, preferably in Health & Beautysegment.
    • Understanding of data analysis andforecasting methods
    • Proficient in MSOffice
    • An analytical mind with a strategicability
    • Excellent communication and peopleskills
