Responsible for buying and selling oil and gas products, managing relationships with counterparts, and maintaining awareness of market trends and regulations.

  • Conduct market analysis to anticipate fluctuations in the oil and gas markets.
  • Execute trades for oil and gas products, including spot trading, futures contracts, options, and other derivatives.
  • Manage financial risk associated with trading activities, using hedging strategies as necessary.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers, including terms for pricing and delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with a network of suppliers, customers, brokers, and other market participants.
  • Collaborate closely with the refinery operations team to align trading activities with production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Ensure trading activities comply with all relevant regulations, market rules, and company policies.
