Junior Accountant - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - NUVO DMCC

Description

We are looking for a
Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.

You will be part of a dynamic trading company. The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation and development of the company.


Responsibilities
Reconcile journal entries with external accounting firm to ensure all business transactions are recorded

Update and upload information in our trading system

Issue proforma, provisional and final commercial invoices, credit note, debit notes

Ability to perform reconciliations on request

Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for audit purposes

Assist with reviewing of expenses, petty cash, VAT declarations

Manage accounting for different companies in several jurisdictions


Requirements and skills
Proven experience of minimum 3 years as a junior accountant

Excellent organizing abilities

Great attention to detail

Good with numbers and figures

Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Ability to work in a stressful environment.


Qualifications requested
Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required

BSc/Ba in accounting, or finance.


Salary:
AED7, AED12,000.00 per month
