Essential Responsibilities
This is a key finance role supporting the Gas Power Commercial Finance (Region name TBD) team. MENA is the fastest growing region for with orders of ~$800M+.

In this role, the Commercial Finance Manager (CFM) will assist the Sub-regional General Manager and Sales and MENA Commercial Finance expert in driving region profitability, growth, risk management and compliance.

Demonstrates strong leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes. Provides proactive partnership to business leaders. Possesses experience and expertise in solving problems. Highly motivated for self and ability to motivate others.


Specific areas of responsibility are:


  • Provide business partnership and finance support to Subregion Sales General Manager & Sales Director & MENA Commercial Finance Leader to define region/country strategies and work closely with Sales Managers to build and operationalize tactical objectives.
  • Serve as functional owner of deal opportunities and orders/sales/CM pipeline reporting for the subregion, by P&L and by country. Track & drive active opportunities against target and estimates.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations, Pricing and other functions to provide effective finance support in deal negotiations and financial risk management and exercise delegated authority.
  • Drive commercial discipline and data quality in utilization of NEX across countries/ P&Ls.
  • Managing engagements across subregion, HQ Functions to provide Commercial Finance support in Policy 5 reviews.
  • Provide country/subregion level systematic on key financial trends (orders, sales, backlog/convertibility, and cash flow) as well as continual improvement of reporting and systematic consistent and in partnership with the global Commercial Finance organization.
  • Drive completion of KYC process, Rev Rec models, Cash-Flows, FX ITO hedging models, etc
  • Partner with functional experts in controllership, tax, legal, treasury to ensure STAT/Tax compliant deal structuring.
  • Work closely with variable channel team to provide finance support and controllership rigor in variable channel approval process.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 4 years of finance experience.
  • Significant experience in Commercial Finance and/or other relevant finance experience.
  • Execution focused, ability to set and meet aggressive goals and objectives.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills with good detail orientation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible & has ability to embrace process changes and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Desired Characteristics:


  • Understanding of Gas Power business, including business lines (CSA, TX, MMP, & Upgrades).
  • Finance educational background (FMP/CAS/EFLP) will be preferred.
  • MENA regional experience in previous job is a plus.
  • Understanding the full spectrum of risks affecting the enterprise (credit, market, operating, liquidity).
  • Prior experience and responsibility for critical decisions of significant financial impact and complex criteria.
