    Description

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial analytics, dashboards, and automated management information systems (MIS) reports using Power BI and Power Query.
    • Create engaging monthly financial decks presentations for senior management utilizing PowerPoint.
    • Conduct a thorough review of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring the clearance of open items in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with the team to finalize profit and loss statements, balance sheet accounts, and cash flow statements on a regular basis.
    • Prepare daily fund balance reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Review and accurately book received invoices within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Business Central.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend best practices, and assist in their implementation to drive efficiency and boost productivity.
    • Analyze account discrepancies, highlight areas requiring attention, and prepare necessary corrections to rectify any inaccuracies.
    • Provide support for other accounting and reporting tasks assigned by senior management.

    Education Requirements

    A Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree is mandatory. Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) certification is highly desirable.

    Language Proficiency

    English language proficiency is essential for effective communication with stakeholders.

    Key Skills

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in companies operating within the commodity trading, dry bulk shipping, or FMCG sectors.
    • Strong analytical and presentation skills to effectively communicate the company's financial health to stakeholders.
    • The ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate exceptional work standards.
    • Advanced Excel skills, including VB programming and macros.
    • Proficiency in using Power BI, Power Query, and advanced PowerPoint skills.
    • Experience with major ERPs, such as Navision, Microsoft Dynamics, and others.
