CompanyOverview:Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Estimator I withsuccessful and progressive experience in performing accuratetakeoff and pricing of the work, including all direct and indirectcosts for heavy/civil/roadway/marine projects. The Estimatordirects all estimators working on the bid, manages the preparationof a pre-bid schedule, and assists with contacting, comparing, andselecting the appropriate subcontractors andvendors.

PositionSummary:The successful candidate shallhaveaminimum of 1 year of field experience preferred but not required;new graduatesaccepted

Responsibilities:

• Workas an integral part of our Estimating team to perform plan andspecification analysis, takeoff and pricing of road, bridge, marineand other heavy/civil projects with values from $5 million to $400million
  
• Workwith subcontractors and vendors to define scope, and performsubcontractor and vendoranalysis
  
• Assistwith all Estimating functions for Lump Sum, Design/Build and UnitPriceprojects
  
• Assistwith the budgeting, purchasing and costfunctions
