KOBusiness Solutions is a family-owned staffing agency proud to workwith a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, IL who isseeking a Customer Service Specialists to join their team.TheCustomer Service Representative is responsible for coordinatingdaily communications with customers and performing administrativefunctions to support order fulfillment. This manufacturing companyprovides metal finishing, coating, and testing on equipment used byaerospace, medical, industrial, and power industries. Successfulrepresentatives are detail oriented, self-starting, and hardworkingwith excellent communication and genuine interpersonalskills.

PrimaryJobResponsibilities:

• Efficientlymanage customer requests and facilitate communication, bothinternally and externally, to ensure order throughput and customersatisfaction.
  
• Verifyand convey accurate information such as order status, expeditingoptions, delivery tracking and other customer inquiries regardingorders and general customerservice.
  
• Providetimely resolutions to customers through various communicationchannels including but not limited to in person, over the phone,and viaemail.
  
• Collaboratewith internal business partners to ensure customer s expectationsare exceeded for assigned and unassignedaccounts.
  
• Ensurea high level of accountability and consistency in adhering tocustomer specific quality, processing, communication and turnaroundrequirements.
  
• Assistin administrative functions throughout the Customer Servicedepartment including order entry, planning, customer request anddepartmentinitiatives.
  
• Developcomprehensive knowledge of the processes and services the companyperforms to promote the company s brand and capabilities across theindustry.
  
• Conductand take part in company tours, as well as periodically visitcustomers to build foundational knowledge of the company s customerbase and theirexpectations.
  
• Contributetowards various non-routine responsibilities, projects and companyinitiatives, including ongoing support across logistics, customerservice, and data planningfunctions.
  
• Takepart in applicable ongoing training sessions and continuous processimprovement programs and participate in periodic testing andperformanceevaluations.
  

Knowledge,Skills,Abilities:

• Mustbe a detail-oriented, organized, self-starting, and hardworkingindividual with excellent communication and genuine interpersonalskills.
  
• Musthave critical thinking skillsandthe ability to develop solutions for complexsituations.
  
• Abilityto learn the fundamentals of special processing in themanufacturing of Aerospace and Defensecomponents.
  
• Prioritizeand efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy, oftenunder pressure and/or shortdeadlines.
  
• Abilityto learn the company s processing turnaround requirements and be anadvocate for orderthroughput.
  
• Developand maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company sprocessing capabilities, as well as the company s Quality System,general procedures, and applicable industry standardspecifications.
  
  

MinimumJobRequirements:

• Atleast two years professional experience in a customer service role,preferably inmanufacturing.
  
• PCproficient with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Officeapplications and capable of learning company s internal ERPsoftware.
  
• Applicantsmust have a high school degree at a minimum. College degree or somecollege coursework ispreferred.
  
• Maintaina professional appearance and uphold a positive companyimage.
  
• Bilingualin English/Spanish aplus.
