    Job Summary

    The Asset Operation Engineer is an active member of ahighcaliber team of operations experts providing functionalownership of various aspects of Asset Operation. This role plays acritical part in driving manufacturing excellence by working withother team members globally to ensure high standards in plantperformance. They also ensure operations discipline compliance anddrive operational integrity maturity to the highest standardsutilizing stateoftheart models and tools for operatingpetrochemical facilities globally guided by manufacturing strategyplans.

    Furthermore the Asset Operation Engineerdelivers knowledge sharing through specialized training programs toenhance the knowledge of site frontlines personnel. They retainoperational knowledge by embedding learnings in relevant systemsand supporting different assessment types. Technical support isextended globally to assure agility in handling critical cases andburning platforms. The Asset Operation Engineer provides expertisefor critical RCAs cold eye reviews and other relevantprocesses.

    Above all they provide overarchingsupport to the execution of manufacturing strategy objectivesrelated to operations. This includes areas of expertise such asEHSS reliable asset utilization and operational cost optimizationacross all This Company sites globally. They achieve this throughleveraging AO expertise conducting advanced analysis developing anddeploying worldclass practices identifying improvementopportunities and participating in projects and growthstages.

    Additionally they support T&Irelatedprojects sustainability initiatives and digitalization solutionsdeployment monitoring and validation. They also support ThisCompany programs and initiatives according to demand andexpertise.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Expertise deployment for solutions & improvementsrelated to plants operation in This Company assets globally
      • Advising and supporting plants in relation tothe deployment use and maintenance of production means andtechniques
      • Guaranteeing professional standardsin relation to technological decisions by providing stateoftheartknowledge during the entire lifecycle of the facilities fromconceptual design to maintenance operation and endoflife
      • Troubleshoot and solve acute problem situations with highbusiness impact
      • Give advice and guidanceregarding chronic technical problem resolution journey
      • Provide support to implement improvements ininstallations methods and operating procedures
      • Give operational advice regarding the deployment ofT&I projects and external services to ensure the success ofprojects or services
      • Translate corporaterequirements and legislation/regulations into technical guidelinesto achieve corporate objectives
      • Supporttechnical consultative committees and working groups (e.g.RCA)
      • Draw up policy proposals and advicereports of This Company facilities globally
      • Give advice whether requested or not regarding technicaland/or tactical policy issues
      • Standardizeresources techniques and procedures to magnify valuecreation
      • Organize task force teams for theimplementation of standards and best practices
      • Contribute to monitoring the application of relevanttechnology (resources techniques and procedures) in productioninstallations to optimize functionality integrity andavailability
      • Issue and review all BestPractices Technical Alerts and High Learning Values related tooperation of processes
      • Monitor operation andprocess PerKs and ensure sites are setting proper resolution plansto mitigate them
      • Support sites in newfacilities commission and T&I project deployment
    • Work with a globally distributedteam of operation experts and performance analysts to ensure commonpractices resource utilization networking and knowledge sharingwithin different performance improvement teams. Improvehighpotential talents support succession planning and cooperatewith other team members through proper Networking & Knowledgemanagement platforms.
    • Develop organize andmaintain robust operating rhythms with sites to ensure ongoingdrive for manufacturing excellence through internal networks thatinclude:
      • Identifying external technicaldevelopments relevant to This Company and initiating effectivefollowup measures for deployment and use
      • Gathering and extracting essential elements of knowledgeand insights relevant to This Company Manufacturing
      • Ensuring proper sharing of resources as part ofgovernance and performance reporting mechanism driving assetsoperation through efficient stewardship reporting

    Requirements:

    • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Jubail SaudiArabia.
    • Holding ChemicalEngineering certificate
    • Excellent knowledge ofthe RCA methodologies and certified RCA leader
    • Strong Manufacturing Experience
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strongprocess engineering skills
    • More than 15 yearsexperience in petrochemical industry in manufacturing withsubstantial exposure to operational EHSS requirements and technicalactivities.
    • Working knowledge and technicalexpertise in manufacturing work processes.
    • Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication andpresentation skills
    • Adequate knowledge andunderstanding of strategic thinking and planningframeworks
    • Proficient knowledge of EHSSstandards
    • Extensive understanding of plantoperations and maintenance
    • Good knowledge ofpetrochemical plants and processes
    • Experiencein leading crossfunctional projects related to assets operationestablishing and maintaining strong relationships withexecutivelevel management
    • Leading change andchange management skills
    • Proactive and strongcustomeroriented mindset
