As a key member of the Shorooq team, the Finance Analyst/Associate will assume a strategic role in the
<\/span><\/span><\/p>
financial management of the Company. The Finance Analyst/Associate will have primary day -to -day hands<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
on responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial -related activities of<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning,<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
financial statement preparation, cash flow, investor relationships, internal corporate compliance and private<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
and institutional financing.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>


Key Responsibilities:
<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Liaising and working closely with external service providers and partners such as external Fund<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
Administrator, Banks, Bookkeeping Accountants.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Leading the financial audits, liaising and working closely with the External Auditors<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Preparing and coordinating investor reporting on a regular basis<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Leading the annual budget preparation and cashflow forecasts<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Preparing management accounts on a monthly basis<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Tracking and monitoring of Portfolio's financials<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Running and updating Portfolio's valuation<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Reviewing, monitor and implement financial policies<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Keeping accurate records for all transactions<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Processing invoices, salaries and payments<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Tracking all bank deposits and payments<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Managing the firm wide cash flow<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Reconciling bank statements and bank accounts<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Requirements<\/h3>

Qualifications and Requirements:
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from a recognized academic institution<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Proven work experience in Finance, Accounting, or similar role – minimum of 2 years, preferably<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>
in one of the Big 4<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Professional qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA)<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Experience using financial software (Zoho, Xero, Quickbooks)<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Excellent computer skills and advanced MS Excel skills<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Knowledge of financial and tax regulations<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Excellent analytical and numerical skills<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Team player, ambitious, self -driven, results oriented and sharp time management skills<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data<\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• Fluency in English is a must<\/span><\/span>
