    • Review the contract in terms ofscope of work, obligations to the client, schedules, possible areasof concerns, action plans, prepare the agenda for the kickoffmeeting with the client and collect relevant information fromvarious disciplines.
    • Finalize the list ofdeliverables as per the contract after discussing them with varioussites which is then submitted to the client for their review andapproval.
    • Co-ordinate with the Engineeringdiscipline who will prepare and issue deliverables such as materialrequisition, technical bid evaluation and purchase requisition asrequired for procurement activities as well as Deliverables likeDrawings, Procedures, calculations etc. These are then reviewed andmonitored on a weekly basis and in case of slippages correctiveaction is taken.
    • Interface with procurement toreview the status of procurement activities and take correctiveaction as needed.
    • Organise weekly reviewmeetings with the client to discuss progress achieved to date aswell as a forecast for the following week in addition to any otherissues which need to be resolved.
    • Interfacewith other Company if required as per Contract wherein the projectengineer ensures any co-ordination required with otherorganizations which is achieved by transferring engineeringdocuments, sorting out queries etc. between the other Company andPetrofac in concurrence with theClient.
    • Arrange and moderate post award kickoff meeting with vendor, expedite, monitor and review vendordeliverables in line with contractual requirements, executionschedule, Purchase Order requirements and terms &conditions, ensure suborders of materials are in line withsupplier's engineering and manufacturing schedule, andmonitor respective deliveries. Resolve any potential operationalissues that may impact the deliveries, Monitor the recovery ofdelays and implementation of remedial actions. Identify Risks andliaise with stakeholders to mitigate delays and cost impacts.Maintain records and update order progressperiodically.
    • Effectually nurture and maintainprofessional and healthy relationship with suppliers, participatein, contribute to and monitor objective supplier performanceappraisal.
    • Interface with the suppliers toresolve technical issues and in case of any deviations understandthe reasons thereof and decide the feasibility of continuing withthe existing arrangement.
    • Interface with siteto resolve site queries which are sent to the Project Engineer interms of material not received, non-conformance reports, anddrawings; and then discusses and analyses the same with theengineering, procurement and expediting teams as required to arriveat workable solutions for site.
    • Carry out aroutine check for field expediting requirements atsupplier's shop and participate in expediting visitsaccordingly after consultation with the Principal ProjectEngineer/Senior Project Engineer, Solicit supplier to maintain aninspection plan, liaise with QA/QC and coordinate inspectionvisits. Review flash report and follow up on approvals by QA/QC.Review inspection release note issued by QA/QC and Issue shippingrelease Note (SRN) to supplier and logistic team to trigger theshipping process. Expedite suppliers' shipping documents,liaise with the shipping department for plan and timely movement ofgoods prior to readiness of consignment. And monitoring untilobtaining Material Receipt Voucher (MRV) from material controlleron site.
    • Participate in investigating causes ofExcess, Shortage and Damage (ESD) of supplies. Coordinate with thesupplier and the procurement department to resolve ESDs andsafeguard a genuine material receiptreport.
    • Advise supplier on invoicinginstructions, Review, verify and administer supplier invoices forpayment against progress milestones.
    • PO closeout by Expediting supplier's submission of final MaterialRecord Book (MRB), and all required documents as per PO, Initiatecompletion of certification for progress and final payment,Maintain performance metrics and coordinate Supplier PerformanceEvaluation.
    • Be involved in approving freightcharges, deciding on the mode of shipment, resolving conflicts withsuppliers, providing recommendations on whether to apply L/D, oninspection application or waiver, and deciding on field expeditingrequirements; however as delegated by ProjectManager.
    • Perform any other related duties andresponsibilities as required by the reporting manager.

    EssentialQualifications And Skills

    • An engineering degree with a minimumof 6 years of project management experience in the oil and gassector.
