About MASSAED:

Qualifications:

Diploma or equivalent is required, relevant certifications or training in logistics is an advantage
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing & transportation.
Should have a knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
Valid UAE driving license for light vehicle.
Familiar with any ERP software, preferrable SAP
Managing the movement of goods, materials, and products to ensure timely and efficient delivery. This includes arranging transportation, working with freight forwarders, and tracking shipments.
Keeping track of inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with department head to ensure adequate inventory is available to meet demand.
Processing incoming orders, ensuring accuracy, and overseeing the fulfilment process from order receipt to delivery.
Supervising and optimizing warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. Ensuring the warehouse is organized and efficient.
Maintaining accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other supply chain activities. This includes generating reports and providing data for analysis.
Facilitating communication between different stakeholders, such as suppliers, manufacturers, carriers, and internal teams, to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
Identifying and resolving supply chain issues, such as delays, quality concerns, and transportation problems, in a proactive and efficient manner.
Finding ways to reduce transportation costs, streamline processes, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Staying updated on relevant laws and regulations related to shipping, customs, and trade, and ensuring compliance with these requirements.
Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and steady supply of goods.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance the overall efficiency of the logistics and supply chain operations.
Assessing potential risks in the supply chain and implementing measures to mitigate them.
Collaborating with demand planning teams to forecast inventory needs and plan for future supply chain requirements.
Utilizing supply chain management software, ERP systems, and other technology tools to streamline operations and improve visibility.
Working with various departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure a coordinated and efficient supply chain process.
