Key Responsibilities

Coordination, planning of the movements as per instructions received and to update the stakeholders with delivery planning and schedule.
Optimum utilization of trucks by consolidating as per cargo parameters ensuring safe handling
Adhoc costs should be controlled by proper cross

- zonal / department coordination and to keep it mínimal to non-available fleet truck types

Adherence to product / customer SOP's and ISO standards
Planning and managing of resources effectively
Periodic supplier evaluation to ensure service quality and to mitigate external risk factors
Ensure periodic maintenance of the leased trucks and usage within the permissible KM reading cap for leased trucks as agreed with the service provider to avoid additional contractual costs for Danzas
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining cash flow / IOU. Collection of cash / cheque for COD shipments and submission to finance within the stipulated time and to keep the records for all transactions.
Monitoring and Real time capture of all time stamps to achieve product defined KPI's
Implement and prioritize emergency and contingency plan on unexpected situations ( surge in volumes, special movements, system down time and others)
Proper update and maintaining weekly, monthly, financial year truck utilization, Adhoc, OT reports
Taking lead in managing and overseeing routine operations during the absence of the supervisor

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Knowledge of freight forwarding business
Good administration, communication and stakeholder management skills
Extensive knowledge about classification of vehicles, capacity utilization and good geographical understanding
Excellent individual performer and team player
Diploma or Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
Proficient in MS office
23 years' experience in logistics, warehousing & distribution operations
