Description

1) Performing structural analysis andengaging in the design of steel and/or transportation structuresfor both new construction andrehabilitation

2) Preparing technical/designreports and calculations packages

3) Preparingconstruction drawings and specifications

4)Attending design meetings and site inspections with our clients,subconsultants, and partners on an as- neededbasis

5) Interacting and collaborating withour in-house drafters and other engineers

6)Designing various structures and producing contract documents forvarious building types, retaining walls, foundations, andwastewater treatment plant

7) Communicateswith other departments to ensure all documentation required iscontained within the tender submission.

8)Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information andrequirements; setting priorities.

9) Preparesconstruction budget by studying plans; updating specifications;identifying and projecting costs for eachelevation.

10) Evaluates offers to purchaseby



costing changes,additions, and site requirements.

11) Obtainsbids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials;identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiatingprice.

12) Maintains cost keys and pricemasters by updating information.

13) Resolvescost discrepancies by collecting and analyzinginformation.

14) Prepares draft tenderdocuments to ensure all systems and components of the tender areincluded

15) Interprets & reviewsystem drawings to identify any difference to tender requirementsand raise queries against specification.

16)Construes and follow company tendering processes and procedures toensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant disciplinecodes and standards.

17) Reviews the designoutputs for compliance with contractualrequirement.

18) Gathers opinion of theproject team and fabrication team on the engineering details toprepare final controlled documents oftender

19) Assess the impact due to designchanges and revision works due to clientinstructions.

20) Ensures the project outputmeeting to the requirement of codes andspecifications.

21) Would be responsible forthe filling of various tenders with all theformalities.

22) Maintains quality service byfollowing organization standards.

23)Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local workteams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, andcontinuing needs.

24) Maintains professionaland technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;reviewing professional publications; establishing personalnetworks; participating in professionalsocieties.

25) Contributes to team effort byaccomplishing related results as needed.
