Oliver Wyman is currently one of the market leaders in GCC public sector strategy consulting.

We are looking for consultants to support our continued expansion in the government and public sector, a strategic priority for the firm.

Oliver Wyman's Public Sector team covers the GCC region from offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Kuwait and Doha.

The team is organized around several different specializations:

  • Sector development: Economic diversification, investment promotion
  • Public sector excellence: Governance, institutional capacity building, datadriven decision making
  • Human capital development: Education & skills, labor market & employment, social development
  • CREATE: Urban development & real estate, tourism, entertainment & cultural sector development
  • Fiscal sustainability: Fiscal policy, and macroeconomic studies and policy

About The Role & Responsibilities

PRINCIPALS are day-to-day leaders of complex client projects, working closely with Partners to manage client relationships, commercial processes, and teams of consultants and specialists. They bring our projects in on time, always striving to exceed the project's goals. Their deep experience in certain business


Your Attributes And Experience

  • At least 68 years of relevant experience, ideally with a toptier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).
  • Knowledge in Public Sector and Public Policy topics
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills and ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
  • An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program with a strong GPA.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you've already got to good use.
  • Have an aptitude for analytical work, like sniffing out clues in massive data sets or hunting down the key issues in a hugely complex challenge.
  • Not just intelligence, but creativity too: you'll be ready to come up with novel ideas to solve our clients' biggest problems.
  • A willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with our incredibly talented team.
