    Description

    KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensurecompany brand standards, policies and procedures are always adheredto.
    • Supervise daily shift process ensuring allteam members adhere to standard operatingprocedures.
    • Provide customers a positive firstand last impression and maintain it at alltimes.
    • Perform and delegate various tasks thatare essential to daily operations of a hotel's front desk.These tasks include making or confirming reservations, verifyingand collecting payments, controlling guest access to safe depositboxes, and contacting housekeeping or maintenance when guestsreport a problem.
    • Provide the team withnecessary training and support.
    • Bookkeepingduties, such as balancing accounts (creditlimit).
    • Must be friendly and outgoing, andpossess excellent communication and problem-solvingskills.
    • Always ensure outstanding customercare.
    • Respond to telephone and inquiriesregarding reservations, hotel information and guestconcerns.
    • Use suggestive selling techniques tosell room nights, increase occupancy andrevenue.
    • Adhere to company credit limitpolicies.
    • Allocate rooms to expected arrivalsafter checking the guest preferences and specialrequests.
    • Build strong relationships and liaisewith all other department's especially housekeeping,reservation etc.
    • Cross check all billinginstructions are correctly updated.
    • EnsureFront Office log book / checklist is always updated and actionedupon.
    • Ensure safety by following guest check inand security procedures and reporting suspicious activity tosecurity and duty managers.
    • Assist alldepartments in servicing the guests during high volumeperiods.
    • Take responsibility in the absence ofthe Duty Manager/Front OfficeManager.

    Desired Skill &Expertise:

    • At least 2 years'experience as Front Office Supervisor in 4/5* property with 300+inventory
    • Front Office computer literacy (e.g.,OPERA, VICAS etc.)
    • Excellent communicationsskills with Proficiency in speaking and writing BusinessEnglish
    • Required language(s): fluent English,with preferred fluent French, Arabic, orRussian
    • Team player with excellent planning andorganizing skills
    • Able to work flexible workinghours with rotating shifts
    • Pleasant personalitywith good problem-solvingskills
