Global mission


As Demand Planner, you will be a key contributor in the structuring and management of all operations processes of the MEIA Business unit.

You will be the link between our Perfume & Beauty Headquarters based in Paris and the Dubai office.


Your main mission will be to build our forecasts with the central and local teams (on novelties and basics), ensure information sharing between HQ in Paris and Dubai teams and to track & ensure good consumption rate of our forecasts.

Information keeper, you will be the referee for all Operations topics between Headquarters and the local team.


Entrepreneur and solution oriented, you will be a key player in the improvement of our existing systems and processes in order to generate greater forecast accuracy and better analyses.


Main responsibilities

  • Management of forecasting (Catalogue + Novelties
Be the key actor of all the forecasts management for Catalogue (Basic) and Novelties for both category Saleable and


POSM :
communication, follow up, consolidation, maintain of our file to ensure data consistency

Novelties Market Forecast Consolidation after collection revealed from HQ.

Follow up, and Forecast Accuracy to follow Market Demand on Catalogue items and in DSCP tool

Ensure good communication between HQ and Local Team

Share the right signals on key references (Salable and POSM) to the supply department in France to limit risk of out of stock

  • Launch Follow up
Verify all novelties are well ordered in accordance with the forecasts calendar

Flag under and over consumption and challenge the team

Communicate all cancelled/delayed SKU and other changes

Monitor the monthly postponement process if needed in DCSP or release of forecasts.

  • Budget
Revision of Budget by line (budget of the year and Year +2) in line with actual Turnover and landing expectation

Monthly Follow up of turnover achievement

Follow up of POSM by Client ensuring consistency, based on forecasts and basic consumption

Ensure Forecast management file maintenance and accuracy

  • Operation Back Office support
Active communication to the team : share with the team the vision on out of stock, ensure good communication of forecast consumption

Quota communication and follow up according to what was allocated to our team

Support sales team on order preparation through files support

Analysis of Order portfolio and communication to team accordingly

  • Sales &Operations (S&OP) and Convergence meetings preparation
Share MEIA Demand by Line / Olfaction for our Best estimate plan and Budget

Track on gaps quantities between HQ forecast and our Best estimate and Adjustement

Reflect of MEIA needs and Demand to all counterpart in HQ (Beauty and Perfume team)

Ensure the preparation and participate Convergence meetings

Ensure sales team involvement & collaboration in all types of analysis and Business Review trimestrial


Profile

  • Graduated from an business/engineering school, you have a first experience of at least 3 years, in Demand planning, Supply chain or Finance.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you are an "outside of the box" thinker with the ability to find solutions in a complex and fast changing environment
  • You are solutionoriented and have strong attention to details. You are known for your organization and time management skills.
  • You are accountable, reliable and have strong analytical skills
  • You have a perfect command of computer tools (Excel & PowerPoint are a must have / VBA is a plus) and speak English & French fluently (written/spoken).
  • You like to work in a team


The fixed-term contract position is to be filled as a replacement for maternity leave for a period of 5 months from June 2024 to mid-November 2024.
