Key Responsibilities:

Custom Development: Architect and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. You'll translate complex project requirements into functional, efficient code that enhances user experience and engagement.
Web Technologies Mastery: Employ advanced knowledge of PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS or LESS), and AJAX to create dynamic, responsive, and interactive website features. You'll also integrate modern frontend builders/frameworks like Gutenberg, Elementor, and other page builders with WordPress environments.
Performance Optimization: Take charge of optimizing website speed and performance. Implement caching, minify CSS and JavaScript files, and optimize images. Utilize tools and techniques to achieve top scores on PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and other performance measurement platforms.
SEO and Accessibility: Implement SEO strategies, ensuring websites are optimized for search engines from the coding phase. Ensure web accessibility standards (WCAG) are met, making websites usable for everyone.
Security & Maintenance: Proactively secure websites from hacking, spamming, and other vulnerabilities. Perform regular updates and maintenance, ensuring high availability and reliability of client websites.
Server and

Hosting Management:
Oversee server maintenance, manage hosting environments, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place. Optimize server settings for WordPress-specific requirements and work closely with hosting providers to troubleshoot any issues.

Database Management: Manage and optimize WordPress databases for high performance and scalability. Implement effective data storage solutions, maintain data integrity, and ensure efficient data retrieval.
Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with project managers, designers, and the marketing team to ensure projects meet and exceed client expectations. Lead by example, sharing knowledge and best practices with junior developers.

Qualifications:

A solid foundation with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
At least 3 years of handson experience in WordPress theme and plugin customization.
Proficient in web development languages and technologies, including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and SQL.
Demonstrated experience with RESTful API integration and thirdparty service integrations within WordPress.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience implementing SEO tools and plugins for WordPress.
Knowledge of the latest web standards, including HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Expertise in responsive web design and crossbrowser compatibility issues.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflow automation tools.
Exceptional problemsolving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience:

Web Development: 3 years (preferred)
