    Description

    Our Learning & Development Officer is responsible for coordinating, supporting and delivering a range of Talent and Learning solutions aligned to the organization strategy to ensure the development, improvement, and growth of Maximus employees at all levels of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the identification of employee learning needs, creation of Individual Development Plans (IDP's) and bi-yearly and annual learning plans.
    • Delivery of a range of engaging and interactive learning experiences and programmes through on-line, face-to-face presentation, group facilitation and coaching.
    • Assist in the development, maintenance and delivery of a monthly learning and development calendar.
    • Actively promote the learning calendar and learning experiences to colleagues.
    • Coordinate and monitor employee's compliance training requirements ensuring completion targets are achieved.
    • Conduct induction training (Corporate and Operational) for new employees to familiarize them with company culture, policy, procedures, systems, and practices.
    • Design and deliver role specific training and learning pathways to employees across the business.
    • Deliver train-the-trainer sessions to other members of the Talent and learning team.
    • Maintain employee learning records on the LMS and produce reports, outlining talent and learning activities, progress, and outcomes.
    • Design, deliver, assess and review blended learning programs specifically focused on Maximus Systems including: Max360, Magenta, myHR, MS Office.
    • Develop and update talent and learning experiences and resources in accordance with departmental standards.
    • Manage and co-ordinate training venues and online learning environment to maximise learner engagement and participation.
    • Gather feedback from participants about the learning experiences to assist with continuous improvement.
    • Provide support to the Senior Learning & Development Specialist, L&D Business Partner, Senior L&D Facilitators and Talent & Learning Administrator.
    • Participate as an active member of the Human Resources team.

    Knowledge

    Minimum bachelors' degree in a related discipline such as training and development or human resources or related field

    • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others to understand
