Description

• Developing annual HSE improvementplans in line with Company and Client strategic and business unitobjectives
• Managing the project HSE interfacerequirements; ensuring compliance with all existing interfacedocuments and in the development of futureplans
• Ensuring the requirements stipulated inHSE interface documents/plans are communicated to all relevantpersonnel
• Supporting HSE incidentinvestigations and undertaking the appropriate reportingrequirements
• Assist in coordinating internaland external audits
• Communicating the importantmessages from incidents and accidents as a part of the Lessonslearned process to all relevantparties
• Promoting and communicating lessonslearned from within their own project; reporting deficiencieswithin project and corporate functions and recording all reportableissues within company action tracking and incident reportingsystems
• Ensuring that emergency responsearrangements are in place and are communicated to all personnel;ensuring that project requirements align with Client requirementsif these take precedence
• Liaising with andbuilding relationship with Client HSE Reps and site Safety Reps asrequired
• Managing attendance and participationat project HSE meetings, workshops andforums
• Maintaining a system for monitoring HSEperformance
• Developing a site HSE visitprogramme for both self and for project/contract management and forCorporate HSE management
• Promoting workforceinvolvement in all HSE activities, initiatives andprogrammes
• Since the role is covering the GCCregion, therefore travel to other countries isexpected
• Visiting sites and working with siteteams and clients
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Engineering degree HSE or anyEngineering Discipline
• C&G, ONC/HNC orequivalent in Technical, HSE or relatedindustry
• NEBOSHCertificate
• NVQ Level 4 IOSH(desirable)
  

Knowledge, Skills AndExperience

• Minimum 5 years in a technical role,or association with HSE role in anotherindustry
• Familiarization with industryregulations
• Good planning and organizationalskills
• Effective/competent MS Office SuiteUser
• High level of communication skills in bothwritten and spoken format
