Job Description
A DevOps Engineer is responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of the software development infrastructure. They collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases and automation processes.

The DevOps Engineer continuously strives to improve operational efficiency by implementing best practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processes.

They are also responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting issues with the software and infrastructure.
Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automating the infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes.
• Collaborating with software developers to streamline software builds, testing, and deployment.
• Monitoring system performance and responding to incidents, ensuring maximum uptime.
• Implementing and managing configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Managing cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ensuring proper security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
• Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
