    Description

    • Leads the respective teams across allairline hubs with overall responsibility of function relatedactivities and relationships related to AircraftMaintenance.
    • Supports the executive management inestablishing strategic and budgetary plans for related areas andworks with his/her teams to ensure successful delivery of therespective budgets and plans.
    • Provides direction andguidance to Hub teams to ensure that aircraft maintenanceactivities and processes are carried out in line with GroupStandards. Facilitates regular communication with Hubs to ensureefficient and safe engineering & maintenance activities arecarried out and to proactively identify & resolve anypotential concerns.
    • Develop and implement aircraftmaintenance strategies for Hubs and Outstations that align with theoperational goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
    Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to trackmaintenance efficiency, aircraft availability, and compliancemetrics.

    • Ensures that all maintenance activitiescarried out by 3rd party service providers are as per the qualityand standards laid down by the respective Regulatory Authoritiesand the Air Arabia Group. Ensure there is steady pipeline ofservices providers for all AOC's Outstation maintenance;solicits service providers for new destinations / end-of-contractin line with procurement processes.
    • Reviews andsupports the commercial offer for Outstations Maintenance beforefinal approval ensuring required business justifications forcontract renewal and/or new contracts.
    • Ensure relatedmanuals & processes are established, communicated, andupdated in line with regulations, and as per Air Arabia policiesand procedures.
    • Continuous review of procedures andprocesses whilst introducing key change management programsnecessary through process improvements. This includes examining allcurrent work methodologies and practices and will continually seekways to enhance in-house capability to assist in reducing theoverall maintenance costs.
    • Analyzes and evaluatesmanagement reports to highlight variances and identify gaps inperformance; recommends and implements corrective measures andalternative cost-effective solutions as needed.
    • Partners with stakeholders and mainly support functions such asFinance, HR, and IT to ensure cost-effective utilization ofresources, systems & tools. Leverages technology to drivecontinued improvements.

    • Partners withQuality Assurance, Safety, Security Department to ensure adherenceto standards and regulations and ensures timely response to auditfindings.
    • Represents Air Arabia and liaises withRegulatory Authorities when needed.
    • Lead by example,motivates and maintains a competent and high performing team,capable of meeting current and future business needs; Coach& Mentors team members for their career and professionaldevelopment.
    • Manages performance through objectivesetting, continuous support, feedback and formal reviews to ensurebusiness objectives & KPI requirements aremet.
    • Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing is inplace and in line with the business plan to meet the operationalneeds of the department.
