Basicmechanical and electrical engineering skills for deployableterminals (Elevation and Azimuth motor drives, servo drives,mechanical and electrical sensors andtransducers
BasicFibre Optic measurements techniques knowledge, SingleandMulti-Mode, on industrial and/or military tactical cablednetworks
UnderstandingIP basics of Local and Wide AreaNetworking
Experiencein reading complex system documentation and diagrams (electricaland mechanical) and fault finding techniques in UHF and SHF bandbased deployable transmissionsystems
Faultfinding experience in complex HF, VHF, UHF and SHF basedtransmission systems, including systems with various antennaconfigurations

Experienceof repair and testing of High and Medium Traveling Wave Tube (TWT)based power amplifiers in X and Ku band, including powersupplies
Experienceof repair and testing solid state power amplifiers in X and Kuband
Experiencein fault finding and reconfiguring advanced satellite networkmanagementsystems
Configuringand testing encrypted link protection systems in line with set NATOStandard Agreement STANAG 4606 or equivalent; Applying electricalsafety testing conform EU norm EN 50110 or equivalent national norm(NEN3140)
Extensiveexperience with respect to reading and understanding wiringdiagrams, logic circuitry, flow charts, schematic drawings andtechnical datasheets
Configuringfrequency based reference systems and modems using NORAD Two LineElements or IRIG timecoding
Priorexperience of working in an international environment comprisingboth military and civilianelements
Knowledgeof NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO andACT

DUTIES/ROLE:
Assistin planning, preparation, coordination, execution and reporting ofPreventive and Corrective MaintenanceInspections
(PMI/CMI)of the various transmissionassets
Assistin preparation of future upgrades of the DCIS transmission systemsproviding feedback and drafting Technical Notes and furtherimplementation of the approvedchanges
Provideon-site or remote support and guidance to the users referring tothe transmission issues reported to NCIA FSP (including but notlimited to ITSMtickets)
Whereneeded, coordinate with other NCI Agency internal stakeholderstechnical aspects of the performedwork
Performsall the duties respective to KPIs set by the DCIS service levelagreement
