Jr Sous Chef Job Description:


  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
  • Recruiting staff whenever necessary.
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff's activities.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staff.
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints.
  • Give prepared plates the "final touch."
  • Perform administrative duties.

  • Excellent record of kitchen management
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • To report for duty punctually and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the company and department grooming standards.
  • To provide friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
  • To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments.
  • To be aware of the Catering Services company's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the company's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

Requirements we look for:


  • Hotel Management Graduate

Experience in Indian Cuisine from North to South
:


  • Experience in handling Customer requests/complaints.
  • Able to handle team and trainings.
  • Must have good experience in Kitchen Operations management.
  • Should have good communication skills.
  • English speaker/handling orders/stocks/cost.
  • Should be able to understand the brand and its potency.
  • Manages cost and quality.
  • Must have experience with leading brands.

Experience:


  • Jr Sous Chef 2 years (preferred)
  • Indian Cuisine experience minimum of 5 years from tandoor to curries.

Salary:

AED4, AED5,000.00 per month


Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

Indian Cuisine: 4 years (preferred)
