    Description

    Section I: Job purpose

    To be responsible for carrying out the budgeting, reporting and procurement function of Digital Cluster. The role holder will prepare the reports for budget analysis, cost analysis, management reporting, tri party reconciliations for online collections by coordinating with HQ Finance and bank and will share the final reports with key stakeholders including HQ Finance team. In coordination with Service Desk and Operations team, ensure that all Online payment systems are update to date. The ideal candidate must have attention to details and be able to perform complex data analysis and reconciliations.

    SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the line manager in collecting, preparing, and consolidating the annual budget requirements for Digital Cluster and five-year business plan.
    • Research and analyze the trends and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast for revenue and cost.
    • Maintain a financial database on budget and actual to allow timely comparison, validation and escalation as deemed required and coordinate and support HQ Finance in budget related queries.
    • Prepare the monthly financial report on cluster's financial position and analysis including revenue, cost, and capital expenditures and explanation for all the variances.
    • Develop and maintain an appropriate mechanism for sharing data, to aid financial analysis and reporting and provide explanations for major variances affecting the budget.
    • Maintain a financial database that will allow ease in preparing adhoc reports to senior management such as resource utilizations, spending analysis, revenue performance etc.
    • Prepare the feasibility studies, financial models, project costing and market research.
    • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as needed.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Train the junior staff member as and when required.
