Description

A medical nurse, also known as a registered nurse (RN), is a healthcare professional who provides direct patient care, assists physicians, and plays a critical role in the overall healthcare team.

As an RN, you would typically work in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings.


Your primary responsibilities would include:

Patient Care:
Assessing patients' conditions, recording symptoms, and medical histories, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. This includes monitoring vital signs, dressing wounds, managing pain, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Collaboration:
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, pharmacists, and technicians, to develop and implement patient care plans. This involves communicating effectively and sharing critical information to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

Documentation:
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, symptoms, treatments, and medications administered. Proper documentation is crucial for continuity of care and legal purposes.

Education and Advocacy:
Providing health education to patients and their families, explaining medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures. Advocating for patients' rights and ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.

Emergency Response:
Recognizing and responding to medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrests or respiratory distress. This includes performing CPR, managing airways, and initiating necessary interventions until further medical assistance arrives.

Administration:
Managing and organizing patient care, coordinating appointments, and ensuring efficient workflow. This may involve supervising and delegating tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants.

MOH is a must.


Salary:
AED2, AED3,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- nursing (preferred)


License/Certification:

  • Eligibility letter or DHA (preferred)
