• The candidate will assume soleresponsibility for assigned piping engineering workscopes
• To plan, budget, organize, and controlPiping engineering deliverables for theproject
• Prepare Piping deliverables and ensurethat they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standardsas well as the Client's policies andprocedures
• Ensure that all work is completedwithout compromise to quality and is delivered according to theproject schedule
• Provide direction and guidanceon all piping engineering technical queries raised by eitherinternal or external parties
• Liaise with theClient's Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff asrequired to ensure a consistent approach to projectcompletion
• Promote safe behavior at alltimes
• Provide sound technical advice andsolutions to a diversity of technical problems within thediscipline
• Co-ordinate with other disciplinesduring all stages of design development, construction,pre-commissioning, and start-up
• Assist in thecoordination of all activities related to piping engineeringdesign
• Identify any areas of concern withrespect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actionsas required.
• Must have working projectexperience in Stress and Layouts in the piping disciplinepreferably on Brownfield Iraq Projects

• Degreequalification in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimumof 15+ years of experience in the oil and gasindustry
• Brownfield experience is amust.
• Experience of working with multi-nationaland multi-cultural project teams is stronglypreferred
• Previous experience of working in onIraq Projects
