    About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing the architecture of SharePoint farms, installing, and configuring these farms, and managing their updates and patching. This role involves migrating from older SharePoint versions to the latest version, ensuring high availability and performance, and supporting the ongoing operation of the SharePoint environment. The candidate should have a strong background in SQL Server and experience with SQL Always On availability groups.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design and Architecture:
    • Design and plan the architecture for SharePoint farms.
    • Assess business and technical requirements.
    1. Installation and Configuration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint farms.
    • Configure SharePoint services and settings.
    1. Updates and Patching:
    • Manage the installation of cumulative updates and patches to the SharePoint farm.
    • Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
    1. Migration:
    • Lead migration projects from older SharePoint versions to the latest SharePoint version.
    • Ensure a smooth and efficient migration process with minimal downtime.
    1. SQL Server Management:
    • Manage SQL Server databases related to SharePoint.
    • Experience with SQL Always On availability groups for high availability and disaster recovery.
    1. Operational Support and Maintenance:
    • Provide ongoing support for the SharePoint environment.
    • Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
    1. Performance Tuning:
    • Optimize SharePoint farm for maximum efficiency and performance.
    • Implement best practices for SharePoint configuration and maintenance.
    1. Solution Deployment:
    • Deploy custom solutions and integrations on the SharePoint farm.
    • Manage and maintain SharePoint add-ins and apps.
    1. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Create and maintain system documentation.
    • Generate reports on SharePoint farm status, performance, and usage.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
    • Strong experience in designing and managing SharePoint farms.
    • Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint environments.
    • Experience with SharePoint migrations and updates.
    • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server and experience with SQL Always On availability groups.
    • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and components.
    • Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting SharePoint environments.
    • Ability to deploy and manage solutions in a SharePoint farm.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate).
    • Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
    • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
    • Familiarity with cloud services, preferably Azure.
