The Role
Coating Services/Supervisor Provenexperience working as Coating Supervisor/Specialist preferably inthe UAE or Middle East region Indepth knowledge of engineering andconstruction principles practices and materials Proficiency incommon software and other relevant tools Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills Excellent project management andcommunication abilities Ability to work effectively in a fastpaceddeadlinedriven environment Candidate shall have the necessaryengineering competences and site experience in order to perform thefollowing activities: Have engineering experience in the design ofpainting pipe coating and custom coating systems for line pipes andother pipelines components. Able to analyze the projectdocumentation and to identify critical issues and cost savingstrategies. Understand client specifications and he shall be ableto prepare engineering documents based on client specifications andother project design requirements. Capable to prepare engineeringdocuments such as technical clarifications specifications materialsrequisitions technical bid evaluations relevant to painting pipecoating and custom coating systems for line pipes and otherpipelines components. Capable to review and comment vendorsdocuments related to painting pipe coating and custom coatingsystems for line pipes and other pipelines components. Support thetechnical and commercial department during the review of thetechnical documentation related to vendors scope of work andidentify criticalities and potential savings. Capable to providetechnical assistance during pre qualification tests preproductiontests and during production for all activities carried out atvendors premises related to painting pipe coating and customcoating systems for line pipes and other pipelines components.Ensure that all activities performed at vendors premises arecarried out following latest technical materials developments andin line with best industrial practices. Have proven fieldexperience managing subcontractors in charge of carrying out pipecoating works and custom coating for line pipes and other pipelinescomponents.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in coating engineering isrequired. Masters degree in mechanical or materials engineering ispreferred.
