- Design and create 3D models usingSolidWorks software.
- Collaborate withcross-functional teams to develop and refine productdesigns.
- Conduct feasibility studies andperform engineering analysis to ensure designs meet technicalrequirements.
- Prepare detailed engineeringdrawings and documentation.
- Test and evaluateprototypes to verify designperformance.
- Optimize designs formanufacturability and cost efficiency.
- Providetechnical support to manufacturing and productionteams.
- Ensure compliance with quality standardsand regulatory requirements.
- To attend job kickoff meetings and receive engineering job file from operationscoordinator/ engineer.
- To review and understandthe job requirements (reviewing of both Engineering and Sales filesin order to establish the correct inputdata).
- Discuss the job, design input and outputrequirements and relationship, concept and long lead materialrequirements, etc. with Senior DesignEngineer.
- To finalize the preliminary generaldrawings and load calculations and review with Senior DesignEngineer.
- To prepare BOQ'S, drawings,calculations, and other project relateddocuments.
- To communicate with the departmentsinvolved in the process, to identify and search for the optimumsolution in any related problems that may occur (design, materials,or production)
- To preapprove Purchase requestfor materials as instructed by Senior Design Engineer and to bepart of the materials checking process when received if required bythe Quality Inspector.
- To attend Inspection andTesting of products on level 2 and 3projects.
- To provide technical assistance indiscussions with customers and suppliers as required by SeniorDesign Engineer.
- Carry out review of completedjobs and report to Senior DesignEngineer.
- Incorporate changes and as builtdrawings for closed jobs in the CADSystem.
- Attend Engineering, Design Review andProduction meetings as required.
- Technicalassistance to Sales/Estimation departments as assigned by SeniorDesign Engineer.
- Assistance for Operationsdepartment for as built/constructionspecifications.
- An understanding of engineeringdrawings and principles
- The ability to workmethodically and precisely
- The ability tomanage a varied workload in an efficientmanner
- Good problem solvingskills
