About the Job:

  • As Middle East marketing and communications lead, you will play a key role in increasing awareness of the impact of Mott MacDonald's projects in the Middle East as well as strengthening overall visibility of our brand and thought leaders. You will join a small but highly productive team that works across our Middle East portfolio to ensure excellence in all our communications through remote and in-country support. International travel may be required.

Key responsibilities:


External marketing and communications

  • Oversee all external communications outputs for the Middle East unit, including PR, event support, thought leadership activities, working closely with the regional marketing and communications team.
  • Work with business leaders to create and deliver comprehensive marketing and communications strategies for their markets.
  • Work closely with the regional marketing and communications team to prepare compelling content for press releases, brochures and award submissions, ensuring that messages are supportive of and consistent with the company's branding and marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing and communications, excellence and business development teams to deliver high level external campaigns.
  • Contribute to regional and Group social media activities by developing and coordinating content on a regular basis.
  • Update and maintain relevant pages on our Mott MacDonald corporate website.
  • Compile media lists and carry out media monitoring for the business and its key projects.

Internal communications

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives through metrics, surveys and feedback mechanisms and introduce necessary adjustments.
  • Support in organising internal training sessions and internal events i.e., social media and brand awareness sessions.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Liberal Arts (or eqv) from an accredited university with minimum three years marketing experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role/environment, preferably in a global organisation.
  • Experience of adhering to corporate and client branding and external communications guidelines.
  • Experience in producing a wide range of effective communication products, including but not limited to newsletters, web and social media content.
  • Experience working with the media and issuing press releases, as well as managing social media channels.
  • Experience organising events and highlevel meetings physical and virtual.
  • Experience using digital platforms to deliver events.
  • English language, fluent written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
