    Description

    Responsibilities:
    Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE management systems in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

    Coordinate with various departments to establish and maintain effective safety and environmental procedures, training programs, and emergency response plans.
    Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
    Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.

    Provide guidance and support to management and employees on QHSE-related matters, including risk assessments, safety procedures, and environmental management practices.

    Keep abreast of changes in QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices within the oil and gas industry and ensure compliance.

    Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews as required.

    Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, contractors, and industry organizations, to promote a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.

    Prepare and present QHSE reports, presentations, and training materials to management and staff as needed.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
    Professional certification in QHSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, etc.) preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

    In-depth knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, API, ISO, etc.).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Proficiency in MS Office suite and QHSE management software.
    Willingness to travel to various work sites and facilities as required.
    Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental protection, and continuous improvement.
