Description

Actively participates as a member of the UITSsenior management team providing input, assessment and directionfrom the perspective of EAI.

• Assesses UAEU Departments'needs and develop programs to support these needs affecting theday to day operations and procedures of the University.
• Plans,directs and coordinates activities in the selection,implementation, management and maintenance of enterpriseapplications technology projects to ensure project goals areaccomplished by performing duties personally or throughsubordinates.
• Develop project proposals with goals, time frame,funding limitations and procedures for accomplishing administrativecomputing projects, staffing requirements and allocation ofresources.
• Consult and formulate recommendations to seniormanagement in academic and business departments to identify andsolve their business needs by advising appropriate electronicautomated solutions to run their operations, assesses their impacton University resources, and ensures the effective integration intothe computing infrastructure.
• Hire, train, manage and evaluatereporting staff so as to provide stable enterprise mission criticalapplications, an appropriate presence on the World Wide Web, andrelated services to the University.
