We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding gastronomic experiences, and we are seeking a Head Baker who shares our commitment to excellence and ready to take the brand to a new height.


Responsibilities:


  • Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure that colleagues comply with HACCP guidelines Minimum 2 years working experience as baker in wellknown international hotel brands.
  • Extensive knowledge in breads
  • Ensure the food cost of his Bakery is in line with budget kitchen operating supplies, and kitchen energy costs.
  • Do not entertain unannounced visits from food or material suppliers.
  • Observes sales floor and back stock conditions.
  • Prepares and produces such bakery and specialty products as pastries, cakes, pies, muffins, breads, puddings, parfaits, frosting, cookies, rolls.
  • Requisition supply items as needed from storerooms.
  • Prepares and bakes all bakery items for menu and catered events following standardized recipes.
  • Looks after the full bread and pastries production line.
  • Estimates baking needs, requisitions adequate supplies, inventories supplies, and keeps records of products made and used.
  • Coordinates in details on the restaurant / banquet / food production, and all specific duties to all employees

Requirements:


  • 5 years' bakery experience in a luxury hotel environment or highquality restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP general health & safety in the workplace
  • Previous experience as a Head baker or in a related role preferred.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor in a related role preferred.
  • A Culinary degree from a recognized hospitality school preferred

Experience:

Head Baker: 4 years (required)

  • Hotel/Restuarant: 4 years (required)
  • Supervisory level: 2 years (required)
