Description

Responsible for supervising the stewarding operation during shift and for cleaning and maintaining food and beverage premises to high hygienic standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will assist in supervising and training the Stewarding team members, scheduling of work and oversight to ensure that health and safety standards are being followed and chemicals are being utilized and stored correctly.

During the shift, oversees the preparation of kitchen equipment for use
Supervises the receivable and storage of kitchen goods
Supervises the cleaning and storage of kitchen equipment
Supervises the cleaning of the premises and the cleaning of kitchen and equipment
To take responsibility for individual development.
Supervises the removal of waste
Supervises the handling of kitchen linen
Maintains high levels of hygiene standards for team

- manage the equipment stores and ensure that all equipment is being effectively controlled and stored and that breakages are kept to a minimum.

Supervises all functions of the Stewarding operation to achieve the optimum quality level of sanitation
Supervises the counting of inventories in coordination with employees of the accounting division
Liaise with employees of the Engineering Division to schedule preventive maintenance and repairs

- conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Proven work experience as Steward Supervisor or Steward head in hotels in UAE
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to perform well in a fast

- paced environment.
