About the job:

Reporting to the BU Contracts Manager you will work directly with global sales teams and support them in reviewing terms and conditions of client-facing contracts and be responsible for;


Pre-award:

• Support sales managers in arranging for review of sales contracts/tender documentation using internal and external legal resources
• Prepare contract deviations lists based on input both internally and from external reviewers
• Convert deviations list into contractual redline and vice versa, compare agreed deviations lists with final contracts for consistency
• Maintain systems for filing contracts/drafts, and monitor the order intake report on weekly basis and check if relevant contracts have been reviewed as per internal policies
• Arrange for review and approval of bank guarantees

Post-award:

• Support project management team in preparation of contract notices and correspondence
• Maintain the master list of contracts with Sales Agents and Distributors. Ensure all supporting documentation on agent due diligence is kept up to date and stored accurately
• Supervising progress of contractrelated actions from legal reviews and internal audits, and provide administrative support
• Any other commercial tasks as directed from time to time. International travel may be required up to 1015%
• Demonstrated ability in a similar role in an industry sector (marine, construction, oil & gas or heavy equipment). Solid understanding of contract terminology. Experience of working on contracts in pre

- or post-award stage (preferably in both). Experience in post-award administration of EPC or construction-type contracts would be an advantage

• University degree in business, engineering, law or related field
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities and takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences
• Ability to compare textual documents for consistency, with an attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively, working independently and/or in a team, and showing initiative with when there is a need to seek guidance
