Description
A construction safety assistant is responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient construction site.

Their job is to prevent accidents and ensure that workers and the job site are in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.


What you will be doing:

  • Ensure the safety of guests, suppliers, visitors' contractors and employees., and property by actively monitoring the premises and responding to incidents promptly and appropriately.
  • Assist in responding to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and other critical situations, following established safety procedures.
  • Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with safety concerns.
  • Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials if required.
  • Proper grooming at all times
  • Inspect Site areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and conditions of safety equipment's.
  • Provide assistance and support to guests, addressing their safety concerns and inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Assists management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
  • Complies and records data for Safety Control.
  • Investigates& Documental incidents, accidents, and safetyrelated activities in a clear and concise manner, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensures all Fire safety equipment is at the designated places and are serviceable at all times.
  • Ensures all Fire Exits and stairs are clear from obstruction at all times.
  • Reads & write all memos concerning Safety.
  • Provide training sessions And Tool Box talk Daily as scheduled to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Provide Safety related trainings to the departments/ contractors as assigned by Company.
High school diploma or equivalent

Associate's Certification in safety, health, or related field preferred

1-3 years' experience in a safety role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems


Ability to Commute:

  • Abu Dhabi (required)
