The Role:

The successful applicant will have previous successful experience teaching students with SEN, including ADHD, ASD and EAL.

This full-time teaching opportunity will require working within a fantastic inclusion team and being responsible for a specialist, dedicated Primary SEN class and provision for students with a diverse range of additional learning needs.

Requirements:


The successful applicant will:

  • Be a qualified Primary Teacher with appropriate teaching qualification (i.e. B.Ed. and/or degree and PGCE)
  • Preference for specialism in SEND / additional certification in SEND
  • Possess recent successful experience of teaching Key Stage KS12 SEN in a reputable primary / inclusion school setting
  • Possess a strong focus on the pastoral care of children, understanding the balance between academic and social progress and support, as well as the ability to identify safeguarding concerns.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach to both individual and collaborative professional development.
  • Be available to join January 202
  • Local hire contract only i.e. Taxfree salary, Visa, Medical insurance, Annual Flight allowance
