    Description

    We are a furniture manufacturing company looking for a highly creative, imaginative and artistic interior designer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and knowledge in design applications and software.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for designing sketches to demonstrate designs to clients to ensure their :
    Site visits with the company team.
    Meeting with clients to determine the initial requirements.
    Preparing a bill of quantities (BOQ) after concept approval.
    Consulting with clients to select samples and creating mood boards.
    Arrange to get the exact measurement from the site before starting details drawing.
    Checking the drawings and making modifications if required by the client.
    Meeting with client to get approval on drawings and mood board.
    Send approved drawings and samples to the factory.
    Using design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans.

    Weekly factory visit if required to follow up on the project's production do market research to get the latest and updated materials available in the market and update our library.

    To ensure that materials are available in the library all the time.

    Flexibility to communicate with clients through WhatsApp after duty time in case of any work in several changes in the concept design from the client or head of design.


    Skills:


    Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, PowerPoint point and other design programsExpertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installationsKnowledge of furniture materials, such as wood finishes, marbles, glass, mirror, fabrics, wallpaper and carpets.

    Excellent portfolio of previous works.
    Knowledge of art movements and styles.
    Ability to work on parallel projects and under pressure.
    Skills in mixing different furniture style concepts, materials and textures to create an eclectic look.

    Expert in combining different fabrics, textures and materials such as wood, marble, steel, in furniture Layout and interior zoning, and spacing.

    Knowledge of loose furniture and fixed furniture details drawing.


    Job Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in design or any relevant degree.2-4 years of experience in furniture and fit-out.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
