Contribute effectively to carry out teaching of diverse theoretical and practical biology/biotechnology courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels including general biology/tissue culture/industrial biotechnology/food biotechnology/molecular biology courses.

Conduct high quality research work in the biotechnology area & contribute effectively to build research groups in biotechnology. Recruit external and internal research funds. Provide academic and professional advising to students. Contribute to curriculum and program development. Contribute in the academic assessment processes.
