A Junior Accounts and Credit Officer typically works within the finance or accounting department of a company or financial institution.
Their primary responsibility is to assist senior staff in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies in financial transactions.
- Help in setting credit limits for customers based on their financial status and payment history.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, sending reminders and initiating collection efforts as necessary.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Input financial transactions into accounting software or databases accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide assistance and support to resolve billing or paymentrelated issues.
- Assist senior staff with adhoc tasks and special projects as needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:
AED2, AED3,000.00 per month
