Receive and stage merchandise by department,mark appropriately for placement in facility, and delivermerchandise to appropriate department. Stack received merchandiseon pallets or carts. Complete requisition forms for inventory andsupplies. Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timelymanner. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotatestock. Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness,cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots. Refuseacceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Adhere tofood safety and handling policies and procedures across allfood-related areas. Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigeratorsand freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Remove emptypallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storageareas.
