    Civil Engineering Project Manager

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee daily construction activities on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and timelines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Site Management: Oversee daily construction activities on-site, performing regular inspections of work progress and quality.
    • Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and resources needed for construction.
    • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and compliance records.
    • Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting safety audits and training sessions for site personnel.
    • Project Scheduling and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of project schedules and budgets, actively monitoring expenditures and resource allocation.
    • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolve any design-related issues.
    • Technical Review: Review technical drawings and plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility before construction begins.
    • Risk Management: Support the project manager in identifying potential risks and developing proactive strategies to mitigate them.
    • Problem-Solving: Engage in problem-solving on-site, addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during the construction process.

    Desired Candidate Profile

    • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for a solid technical foundation.
    • Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE) is highly preferred, showcasing advanced expertise and commitment.
    • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction site management within the civil engineering sector is required.
    • Familiarity with local construction codes and regulations is crucial for ensuring compliance and quality standards.
    • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project) is necessary to streamline project workflows.
    • Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and implement necessary adjustments effectively.
    • Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and manage diverse teams, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
    • Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in additional languages can be advantageous for diverse teams.
