Responsibilities:


  • Assist customers by providing detailed product information and recommendations.
  • Process transactions and manage cash and credit payments.
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming store environment.
  • Manage inventory and ensure displays are stocked and visually appealing.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and store traffic.
  • Organize and promote instore events and community engagement activities.
  • Design promotional materials and coordinate with vendors for marketing resources.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to adjust marketing strategies.
  • Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and detailed product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Process sales transactions and efficiently manage cash and credit payments.
  • Maintain and refresh the store's appearance, ensuring cleanliness and visual appeal.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, restock shelves, and manage product orders to ensure availability of popular items.
  • Handle and care for live pets in the store, providing basic care and sharing proper pet care tips with customers.
  • Resolve customer issues and queries promptly to ensure satisfaction and maintain the store's reputation.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate both digital and traditional marketing channels to increase brand awareness and sales.
  • Create compelling, informative, and visually attractive content for social media platforms, blogs, newsletters, and the store's website.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with local pet organizations and community groups to sponsor events, workshops, and other promotional activities that enhance community engagement.
  • Liaise with product vendors to secure promotional materials and negotiate possible comarketing ventures.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to keep marketing strategies relevant and effective.
  • Organize and manage promotional events, including setup and breakdown, coordinating staff roles, and ensuring event success through active participation and customer interaction.

Requirements:


  • Experience in retail sales and/or marketing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative skills for contributing new marketing ideas and materials.
  • Knowledge of and passion for pet care products and trends.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
