- Perform physical evaluations on adultpatients who are seeking medical attention for injuries, illness orother medical concerns
- Order screening testsand other measures that aid in the diagnostic process, and reviewreports, labs, x-rays, EKGs and all other screeningmethods
- Customize a treatment plan unique toeach patient's symptoms anddiagnosis
- Perform minor procedures, bothsurgical and non-surgical, as needed
- Prescribemedication as part of a treatment plan in accordance with federaland state laws, and perform drug and disease utilization reviews ona regular basis to ensure quality treatment of patients and toavoid any drug and/or therapy conflicts
- Attendregular meetings involving professionals who are a part of thehealthcare team
- Follow protocol set by thedirectors of the health clinic, adhering to medical ethics andstandards, and provide recommendations in updating protocol ifneeded
